About Jeli

Hi, I’m Jeli.

Technology taught me to think in systems. Financial planning taught me that money works the same way — so that’s how I approach both.

My Story

From debugging code to debugging finances.

I didn’t start out in finance. My background is in technology — I spent years as a Senior Software Developer at one of the Big Four, writing code, thinking in systems, and tracing problems back to their root cause instead of patching symptoms.

I didn’t become a financial advisor because I’d always dreamed of it — honestly, I just wanted to try it. At first it was another venture, something to explore alongside my IT career out of curiosity, and a way to build a second source of income.

But somewhere along the way, I started learning — about insurance, investments, financial planning, and how differently those decisions can shape someone’s future. More importantly, I started seeing my own finances differently, and realized that earning money and knowing how to manage it are two completely different skills. I wished I’d been taught the second one earlier.

That’s when this stopped being just another venture. Most people don’t need someone to tell them what product to buy — they need to understand why financial planning matters in the first place. That’s what led me here: not to sell, but to build a system that helps people understand their own finances, instead of memorizing generic advice.

How I Think

Two worlds, one way of thinking.

Technology

Systems thinking, structure, and optimization — debugging problems at the root cause instead of reacting to symptoms.

Finance

Stability, protection, growth, and diversification — the same structure, applied to your financial life.

A technology background changes how you approach a financial plan. Instead of reacting to whatever comes up, you build a system: find the weak point, fix the root cause, and design for the long term.

What I Believe

The philosophy behind the framework.

Money is a system, not a mystery.

Every decision fits into a bigger structure. Understand the system, and the decisions get easier.

Protect first, grow second.

A strong foundation makes every later decision less risky — the same order the six-layer framework follows.

Clarity beats complexity.

The best financial plan is the one you actually understand and can follow, not the most sophisticated one.

Your plan should fit your life.

Financial advice should adapt to your actual goals and constraints, not come from a generic checklist.

Beyond Work

Outside Work

When I’m not building systems or helping people build their financial systems, you’ll usually find me exploring the things that keep me curious and inspired.

Art

I love art in all its forms—from visual details and creative ideas to discovering the little things that make something beautiful.

Learning Photography

I'm learning photography and enjoying the process of seeing everyday places, people, and moments from a different perspective.

Game Time

I love unwinding with my Nintendo Switch. Sometimes I need to debug code, sometimes I just need to save the kingdom.

Vintage Vibes & Flowers

I have a soft spot for vintage aesthetics, nostalgic details, and flowers. I love things that feel timeless, beautiful, and a little bit nostalgic.

Work builds what I do. These are some of the things that inspire how I see the world.
